Perpustakaan Jakarta Islamic Centre

Perpustakaan Jakarta Islamic Centre digagas oleh para pakar perpustakaan Indonesia dalam sebuah acara temu pakar perpustakaan pada tahun 2004. Selanjutnya pada tahun 2005, gagasan tersebut di implementasikan dalam bentuk sebuah perpustakaan spesifik peradaban yang memuat kolekai di bidang keagamaan, pendidikan, budaya, informasi komunikasi dan ekonomi/bisnis Islam. Perpustakaan Jakarta Islamic Centre merupakan bagian dari salah satu tugas pokok dan fungsi utama Jakarta Islamic Centre yakni, Pengkajian dan Pendidikan.
